Piotr

Piotr graduated in law from Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. During his time at the university, he was learning the practical aspects of labour law as a legal assistant to the Regional Board of Poland's largest trade union. In the meantime, he wrote and defended his Master’s thesis on “The Banking System of the United States”. He carried his banking-sector interests over into practice by cooperating with the Poznań branch of Bank Handlowy while in legal-advisory training under the Regional Association of Legal Advisers in Poznań. During this period, Piotr expanded his experience also by working at the Western Regional Directorate of the Polish Railways in Poznań. Soon after obtaining his legal adviser qualifications, he joined one of the leading law firms at the time, dealing with commercialisation, M&A and capital markets. Driven to acquire new skills and experiences, he established a working relationship with two South-Korean car manufacturers – Kia Motor Polska and Daewoo FSO Motor, gaining extensive litigation experience in all court instances.

Today, as a lawyer with more than 20 years’ experience, Piotr can readily take advantage of his considerable expertise acquired over this time, his area of preference being medical law. In this field Piotr can boast a track-record of rendering services to healthcare providers and conducting numerous training courses and/or seminars in cooperation with the Chamber of Physicians and Dentists in Warsaw. He is also noted for his extensive knowledge about so-called “medical errors”.

In his private life Piotr is always on the go. He loves travelling and with his license to drive motor yachts, he can pursue this passion cruising the emerald waters of his beloved Greece. Once foretold he would reach great heights, Piotr has acted on this prediction by exploring mountain trails.
